Pearson Test of English (PTE) is an English language proficiency test tailored to evaluate the readiness of non-native English speakers aspiring to flourish in English-speaking countries through academic pursuits - Endorsed by the Graduate Management Admission Council. PTE is a computer-based exam that focuses on real-life English. Being an online exam, the results are often delivered within 5 working days. The scores scale from 10 to 90 - providing a comprehensive snapshot of your language competence. PTE has 3 distinct sections - Speaking & Writing, Reading and Listening. Speaking and Writing module examines the communication skills and ability to express thoughts effectively by showcasing the verbal and written language skills. The Reading module focuses on your ability to understand written English. Lastly, Listening module measures the test taker’s ability to comprehend spoken language.
